BISHOPSTROW WARMINSTER ROAD ST 84 SE (south side) 3/15 Summer House in grounds of Bishopstrow House 11.11.76

Pavilion. Early C19. Limestone ashlar with rubble stone to rear, Welsh slate pointed roof. Octagonal with 3-sided loggia to front. Single storey. Three hollow-chamfered square openings to front, partly closed by wooden trellis, central half-glazed double doors to closed remainder of octagon; margin-pane coloured glass, either side is 18-pane sash with margin lights, pilasters with key motif. Five rear sides have hollow-chamfered square panels, no windows. Astragal below plain cornice to roof. Interior has stone floor, 3 round-arched niches to rear walls and moulded plaster ceiling cornice. Picturesque setting in the gardens of the Regency Bishopstrow House (q.v.), for the Temple family.
