Description

This is an 18th-century semi-detached house with early 19th-century additions, located on Bishopstrowe Mill Lane. The house is constructed of painted rubble stone with brick dressings, and has a tiled roof with a hip to the left side, along with brick stacks. The front has a symmetrical appearance with seven windows. The right-hand side features a four-panelled door set within a latticed porch, alongside a canted bay window with four-pane sashes, and a further section with 2-light and 3-light cast iron casements. The first floor has four 2-light and single light cast iron casements, each with a segmental head.

Attached to the right is an early 19th-century former granary with a double-roman tiled roof and a coped verge to the left. It includes a 3-light casement in a blocked cart entry, a blocked round-arched doorway with a keystone and imposts at ground floor level, and two 2-light casements on the first floor. The left return has a planked door within a hipped porch. The rear of the house primarily features 20th-century casements, with a 20th-century conservatory on the left side. Some cast iron casements remain on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
