BISHOPSTROW MILL LANE (off south side) Footbridge over mill race

GV II

Footbridge. Early C19. Cast iron. Low segmental arch with cast iron balustrade, handrail has wreathed terminals, decorative frieze below walkway with rosettes and wavy ornament. Some of half-posts, formerly with chain, are missing. An elegant example of a simple bridge design.
