Description
Glebe Cottage is a mid-19th century building that was originally two cottages but has since been converted into one. It is constructed from chalk and limestone rubble stone with brick dressings and features a tiled hipped roof. The cottage is two stories high and has six windows, all of which are casements. The entrance includes a planked door located to the right and center, with a 2-light casement to the right, two single-light and one 3-light casement in the center, and two 2-light and one 3-light casement to the left. On the first floor, there are five 2-light and one single casement, most of which are latticed cast iron casements. The right side of the building has no windows, while the left side includes a modern single-storey extension. At the rear, there are additional 2-light and single latticed cast iron casements. This cottage is a notable example of the 'estate cottage' design found in the parish. The interior has not been inspected.
