Description

The bridge over the River Wylye is a road bridge built in the late 18th century, located partly in Stockton Civil Parish. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features five segmental arches, each with keystones and cutwaters. There is a plat band at road level and a plain parapet with pitched coping. The bridge has angled abutments with square end piers, although the weathered cappings are missing on the downstream side. A weir is located below the bridge on the downstream side.
