Description

Clematis Cottage is an early 19th-century house in Wooburn Green. The house is constructed of whitewashed brick with dentil eaves, an old tile roof with a hip to the left, and a brick chimney on the right. It has two storeys and three bays. The two right bays have wide, horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars, the ground-floor windows having segmental heads. The left bay has a four-pane sash window on the ground floor and a paired, barred wooden casement window above. A 20th-century door stands between the two right bays, with a small wooden hood supported on shaped brackets. A door has been blocked between the left bays. A 20th-century lean-to garage is situated at the left end of the building.
