Description
East Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1692, although it was refronted in the early 19th century. The building is constructed from rubblestone and has a letter-L plan, with a brick front and brick infill at the north-west angle. The right lower wing features rubblestone and brick and has a half-hipped roof. The farmhouse has old tile roofs, two wide bays, and two storeys with dormers. There is a central door located in a modern porch. The windows include three-light casements and two-light casements in the gabled dormers. Flanking brick stacks are present, and the left gable is made of rubblestone, featuring a datestone at the apex that reads '1692'. Inside, the property has chamfered and stopped spine beams, and the left-hand ground floor room contains a cambered fireplace lintel that is also chamfered and stopped.
