Description

The barn and stable located to the north-west of Childs Farmhouse is a late 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed structure. It features a brick plinth, weatherboarded walls, and an old tile roof. On the west side, there is a gabled wagon entry flanked by outshots, while the east wall has cart doors. The building consists of three bays, with straight braced tie-beams and struts supporting the purlins. Additionally, there is a small stable wing on the east side, constructed of flint and brick, with weatherboarding on the front and an old tile roof. This wing has a central door and a gable above the left door.
