Description
A late 17th-century post mill, with possible repairs in the 20th century. The mill has a timber frame with weatherboard cladding rising over curved roof pitches. It stands on a circular base constructed of 19th-century brick, topped with a conical slate roof featuring two wooden louvres and a board door. The mill retains four sails and a tail pole. A beam is dated RCE?68? IC. It is an important landmark, as noted in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Volume 1, page 66.
