Description

Stocks located approximately 10 metres to the west of the Church of St Wilfred. These stocks date from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries and are made from ashlar and wood. They consist of two stone piers on either side of a horizontal stone slab, with a horizontal board above it. There are four holes featuring central locking ironwork. These stocks are included in the listing for their group value only.
