Description
Oat Croft Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features ashlar and rubblestone construction with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and five bays.
To the right of the second bay, there is a gabled stone porch with a moulded chamfered doorway that has a segmental arch and an inner board door. On the far left, there is a board door, and on the far right, a half-glazed wagon door with a triangular arched lintel. To the left of the porch, there is a two-light flat-faced mullion window, and to the right of the porch, a three-light flat-faced mullioned window with 18th-century glazing. The window to the right of this one is similar, and to the left of the wagon door, there is a small square casement.
On the first floor, to the left, there is a 19th-century two-light flat-faced mullioned window. To the right, there is a similar window with 18th-century glazing, followed by a five-light flat-faced mullioned window, which has a blind central light. To the right of this, there are two 20th-century square casements. The farmhouse features shaped kneelers, stone coping, and three 19th-century ridge stacks.
