Description
Skuff View is a house dating from the 17th century, constructed of ashlar, coursed squared stone, with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features four bays with quoins.
On the left side of the right-hand bay, there is a 20th-century glazed door set in a moulded chamfered surround, topped with a Tudor arch and a flat head. To the right of this door is a blind two-light chamfered mullioned window. The right-hand bay includes a chamfered doorway with a two-light 20th-century casement window. The left-hand bays each have four-light chamfered mullioned windows that are covered by a continuous hoodmould, although both only retain the central mullion.
On the first floor, the two left-hand bays feature three-light chamfered mullioned windows, both of which only retain the right-hand mullion. The right-hand bays have two-light casements in plain stone surrounds. The house has an end stack to the left and one stack at the ridge.
