Description

Crossfield House is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of ashlar and coursed squared stone, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance features a board door set within a chamfered plain stone surround. All the windows are from the 18th century, except for the one to the left of the door, which is a 17th-century, four-light chamfered mullion window. To the right of the door is a three-light chamfered mullioned window. On the first floor, there are two-light chamfered mullioned windows. The house has end stacks.
