Description

The Church of St John the Baptist is a 17th-century building that was originally two cottages and is now used as a chapel. It is constructed of ashlar and rubblestone with a graduated stone slate roof. The building is single-storey and consists of four bays. On the left side, there is a board door set in a chamfered surround with a four-centred arch. The central three bays feature chamfered four-light mullion windows, while the right-hand bay has a modern three-light chamfered mullion window that is positioned higher than the others. A gable cross is located on the left side of the building.
