Description

Gamsworth Farmhouse and the attached barn date from the late 18th century. The building is constructed from ashlar and rubblestone, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has two bays, featuring quoins. To the right, there is a half-glazed door set in a plain stone surround. Both windows are framed with plain stone surrounds and have 4-pane sash designs. On the first floor, there are two-light flat-faced mullioned windows. The farmhouse has an end stack on the right and one ridge stack. The attached barn features a large central buttress and a segmental-headed door located to the left.
