Description
Greaves Head Farmhouse and attached barn is a farmhouse and barn dating from around 1800, with later alterations. The building is constructed of finely coursed gritstone, featuring ashlar dressings. It has stone slate roofs with coped gables and a single gable stack. The two-storey south front includes a central doorway with an ashlar surround. To the left, there is a former two-light mullion window, and to the left of that, a similar three-light window. Above these, there is a four-light window and a three-light window, both of which are partly blocked. Attached to the southwest is the barn, which has a central cart entrance with a cantilevered ashlar lintel, and to the left, there is a doorway with a flush ashlar surround. Above the doorway is a small window.
