Description

This is a barn dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, located at Upper Fold Farm. The barn features rendered walls and quoins, topped with a stone slate roof. It has a central door and outshut extensions. At the rear, there is a blocked central door with a chamfered lintel and surround. Inside, the barn has three king post trusses supported by struts and braces, along with a ridge piece, upper and lower purlins, and pegged joints. The posts support the trusses where the outshuts are formed.
