Description

No 5 Holme is a house that is part of a terrace, built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features quoins. The roof is made of stone slate and has moulded stone brackets. The building has three storeys. The entrances are located on the left and right sides; the left entrance has a deep lintel with a Tudor arch and chamfered reveals, and it is partially blocked, possibly having been reset. On the ground floor, there is one 2-light stone mullioned window and one single light window. The first and second floors each have two 3-light stone mullioned windows. There are various single light windows at the rear of the building. On the left gable, there is a blocked loading door at first floor level.
