Description

The entrance archway to the children's playground, dated 1686, features a rebuilt doorway that now serves as the entrance. It is constructed with millstone grit quoins and has a large triangular Tudor arched lintel, which is inscribed with "IA GB 01686." The archway has recent struck pointing.
