Description
The archway at Shambellie Grange in New Abbey dates back to 1649 and is a remnant of a former grange. It features a round-arched south archway set within a gable-shaped structure. The archway is constructed from white granite rubble and has red ashlar dressings, including a roll-moulded opening. Above the archway, there is a dated panel and an obelisk finial.
