Description

The gateway at Temple House dates from the late 17th century and features a free-standing round-headed arch. The arch is constructed with alternating courses of polished ashlar and projecting rusticated ashlar, which includes chevron ornamentation on the northern elevation. At the top of the arch, there is a keystone that displays a raised, weathered shield.
