Description

High House is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubblestone with ashlar dressings and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays, with quoins at the corners. The central entrance has a four-panel door framed by a plain ashlar surround. All the windows are three-light, 18-pane side-sliding sashes set within chamfered ashlar surrounds. The roof is supported by shaped kneelers and has stone coping, with end stacks for ventilation.
