Description
Church Green House is a house dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. It is built of coursed squared stone and ashlar, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The house has two storeys and four bays.
On the ground floor, to the left of the right-hand bay, there is an oak studded board door set in a quoined chamfered surround, featuring a 4-centred arch and a hoodmould. To the right of the door, there are two 2-light chamfered mullioned windows. To the left of the door, there is a double-chamfered 4-light mullioned window with a central sash, and further left, a similar window with 3 lights, both of which have hoodmoulds.
On the first floor, the right-hand bay has a window similar to the one below it. To the left, there is a small 16-pane sash window. The left-hand bay features a 4-light double-chamfered mullioned window, with a similar 3-light window to its right. The house has end stacks and one stack on the ridge.
