Description

Hawkridge House is a late 18th-century house located on New Church Street in Pateley Bridge. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and ashlar, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and two bays, featuring quoins at the corners. The entrance is a slightly off-central glazed door with an overlight, set in a plain stone surround. All the windows are sash types, framed by plain raised stone surrounds. The eaves level is adorned with square modillions, and there are shaped kneelers, stone copings, and chimney stacks at both ends and one along the ridge.
