Description

The stocks at the entrance to St. Wilfred's churchyard in Grappenhall date from the 17th century, with the endstones likely from that period. The stocks have slotted, round-headed endstones, while the original oak stocks have been replaced. An older pair of oak stocks is preserved within the church.
