Description

Prospect House is a mid-19th century house situated on the west side of Arncliffe Village Green. It is constructed of coursed gritstone with ashlar dressings, and has a graduated thin stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has three bays, with projecting long and short quoins. The central entrance features a six-panel door in a plain surround with a cornice. The windows are four-pane sashes in plain surrounds, with shorter windows on the first floor and a sill band. Gutter brackets are present, and there are end stacks. The interior was not inspected during the most recent survey. The building is included on the list for its contribution to group value.
