Description
St Clements is an 18th-century house located on the west side of King Street, Colyton. The house is constructed of ashlar with a slate roof featuring gabled ends and a moulded stone eaves cornice. Rusticated quoins and a stringcourse are also visible. It has two storeys and three bays. The windows are tripartite sashes with glazing bars, each featuring a keyblock. The first floor centre window is a single-light sash set within a moulded architrave. A central doorway is present with ¼ columns and an entablature topped with a pediment, leading to a fielded panel door. Brick chimney stacks are situated at each end of the building. The building is of group value, contributing to the character of the surrounding area.
