Description

Althea is an 18th-century house located on King Street in Colyton. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with gabled ends and a moulded stone eaves cornice. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with three-light casements that include glazing bars and keyblocks.

The left-hand doorway is adorned with stone pilasters and an entablature featuring a fluted frieze, leading to a fielded panel door. The right-hand doorway has a moulded stone architrave with a keyblock and also features a fielded panel door. Additionally, there is a fire insurance plaque on the front wall.
