Description
This barn, located approximately 10 metres southwest of Carr Farmhouse, is likely from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a graduated stone slate roof. The barn consists of four bays with a rear outshot and has quoins.
On the south side, there are double cart doors set within a porch that has an outshut roof, located in bay 2. To the left, bay 1 includes projecting through stones and two loading doors positioned below the eaves. To the right, there are steps leading up to a platform. Bay 4 extends under a gabled roof and contains two low doorways, with stone steps to a loading door on its right return. Additionally, there is a lean-to outshut on the left return.
