Description
The barn, located in the south part of Carr Farm, dates from the early 18th century and may have originally included a dwelling on the left side. It is constructed of coursed rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The left section of the barn has a 32-light double chamfered window and an entrance with a Tudor arch. Both the left gable and the back wall have two small double chamfered lights. The right part of the barn includes king post trusses with struts, with one strut supported by a single post. There is wind bracing extending from the ridge to the king posts. The later outshut on the northeast side has various openings.
