Description

This is a former dwelling, later converted to shop use, dating from the early to mid 19th century, with an extension added in the mid 19th century that matches the original style. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and has a stone slate roof. It rises two stories to the street facade, but four stories to the rear. The street-facing ground floor has been rebuilt. The first floor has two six-light windows on the left side (which have been altered) and two two-light windows on the right. The rear elevation on the right side appears as a pair of units, each with an entrance and a three-light window on the ground floor, and two two-light windows on the first floor. The second and third floors each have two six-light windows. The left side of the rear elevation features a single two-light window and an entrance on the ground floor, and two two-light windows on each of the first, second, and third floors.
