Description
The barn at South Carr Farm is a structure from the mid to late 18th century. It is built of brick in English bond and features a pantile roof. The barn has two storeys and comprises five bays. The second bay has an advanced full-height opening that contains a double board door. To the right, there is a board door set beneath a segmental arch, with a pitching door located above to the left. The barn also includes two rows of rectangular vents and has raised and tumbled gable ends. There is a lean-to on the right side, which is not of special interest. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
