Description
South Carr Farmhouse is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a pantile roof. The building has a central-hallway entry, with a cross wing and an outshut at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance includes a 20th-century half-glazed door set within a timber porch, flanked by casement windows that sit beneath segmental arches. On the first floor, there are two-light Yorkshire sashes. The gable ends are raised and exhibit tumbling-in, with stacks at each end.
