Description
These are three houses built as a unified design, dating from the late 18th century with later alterations. They are constructed of colour-washed brick with a pantile roof. The houses are two storeys high and have five first-floor windows, with a higher roofline over the central three bays. The central house has a six-fielded-panel door with an overlight, and a similar door has been inserted immediately to its right, both set under a wedge lintel. These doors are flanked by four-pane sashes with wedge lintels. The house to the left has a four-panel door with an overlight beneath a segmental arch, a board door under a round arch to the left, and a four-pane sash under a segmental arch to the right. The house to the right has a six-fielded-panel door, originally with a blocked overlight and a wedge lintel, with a two-light fixed window in a partially blocked opening to the right, also under a wedge lintel. All first-floor windows are four-pane sashes. There are signs that the eaves course was raised on the right-hand bay. The central section features a dentilled eaves course, as well as coped gables, shaped kneelers, and end stacks.
