Description
This house, located to the north-west of Beck Side Farm, likely dates from the early to mid 18th century and features a later outshut. It is constructed of stone rubble with slobbered mortar, painted except for the through stones, and has a slate roof, with the rear pitch covered in stone slate. The house has a central entrance plan and a south elevation that is two storeys high with three bays. The windows are primarily casements, but the window in the third bay on the ground floor is a sash with vertical glazing bars. There is a gabled porch with a lintel above the entrance that features an incised stylised plant design. The house has gable-end stacks, and the rear includes an outshut beneath a catslide roof.
