Description

This is a house located to the north of Beck Side Farm, inscribed with the date "IM/1779". It is constructed from coursed rubble with dressed quoins and features a slate roof. The house has a central entrance plan and a south elevation that is two storeys high with two bays. There is a dripcourse above the ground floor. The windows are 20th-century casements designed to imitate sash windows, featuring vertical glazing bars. The gabled porch includes a dated lintel and an inner panelled door. There are gable-end stacks, with the left stack projecting. The rear of the house has similar casements and a stair window with small-paned fixed glazing, along with a small window to the right. The entrance at the rear is plain.
