Description
This barn, likely dating to the 18th or 19th century, stands to the north-west of Beck Side Farm in Killington. It is constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof, incorporating areas of stone slate. The east-facing elevation features a barn entrance, accessed by a ramp on the left side, and a small window presumably located in what was formerly a second entrance. The north facade has two cow house entrances, each fitted with a pivoted door. The rear elevation includes an outshut with a catslide stone slate roof, alongside a later 20th-century open-fronted shed with a corrugated iron roof. The barn is included on the heritage list for its contribution to the group value of the farm complex.
