Description
Castle Bridge, located over the River Eden to the northwest of Pendragon Castle, is a bridge believed to date from the 17th century, associated with Lady Anne Clifford. The structure is built of coursed rubble and features parapets. It has a single segmental arch that spans approximately 30 feet. The underside of the arch indicates that the original width was about 4 feet, which has since been widened to 12 feet.
