Description
Bullgill Farmhouse is a house dated 1661, constructed from wet-dashed rubble with quoins. It features a graduated stone-flagged roof with kneelers on the southern gable and projecting stone end chimneys. The building has two storeys and five symmetrical bays. The central entrance consists of a planked door set in a stone architrave with a recessed four-centred arched head, and there is a panel with a dated inscription above the door. To each side of the entrance, there is one two-light window and one three-light window. On the first floor, there are three two-light windows and two three-light windows, alternating in arrangement. All windows are adorned with stone surrounds and mullions. The adjoining farm buildings to the north and a 20th-century outshut to the rear are not included in the listing.
