Description
Tunstall Dyke Drainage Mill is a derelict windpump from the mid 19th century. It features a tapering, tarred brick circular tower that stands four storeys high. The ground floor has opposing door openings and one window opening. On the first floor, there are two window openings, and the second floor has one window opening, all with segmental brick arches. The mill includes a curb, track, and rack, as well as a cast iron pit wheel and a horizontal drive shaft inside, which is connected to a scoopwheel with wooden starts and floats.
