Description

The Commission Mill, located at TG 42251041 in Stokesby with Herringby, is an early 19th-century drainage windpump designed by William Rust. It features a tapering circular brick tower that rises four stories to the curb track, with a timber roof covering. The south side has a round-headed timber door set beneath an arched timber lintel. Above this, there is a segmental-headed casement window on the second floor. The mill also includes one window on the ground floor to the east and another on the first floor to the north. The flat roof is supported by brick piers.
