Description
Staithe Farm House is a farmhouse built around 1800, constructed of red brick with a concrete tiled roof. The building features two half storeys and includes a rear two-storey wing and a lean-to, creating an 'L' shaped layout. There is a single-storey rear outshut. The main entrance is a lobby design with a three-cell plan and a facade that has four bays. The entrance door is part-glazed and set off-center, framed by a timber doorcase with reeded pilasters and an open pediment. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and flat gauged brick arches, with half-height windows on the attic storey. The eaves are finished with a brick parapet, and there are both an off-center axial stack and an end stack to the west. The rear dairy wing features slatted windows, and the rear has brick corbel eaves.
