Description

SU 74 SE BINSTED THE STREET River Hill 4/81 Stable and coachhouse, 30 metres south west of Binsted Place.

GV II

Stable and coachhouse, now a garage. c1860. Stone and tile. Coachhouse and hayloft of 1 storey and attic, with smaller lower stable wing at right-angles. Plain roof shapes, with scalloped bands, gable to dormer (hayloft door). Coursed. malmstone walls with brick dressings: quoins, bands, cambered openings, plinth. Casements. Plain doors. The upper opening in the north gable is now filled, with the attachment of a small wood pigeon-loft.
