Description

The stable and coach house, located 30 metres south west of Binsted Place, dates from around 1860 and is now used as a garage. It is constructed from stone and tile, featuring a coach house and hayloft that are one storey with an attic, alongside a smaller lower stable wing that is positioned at right angles. The building has plain roof shapes with scalloped bands and a gable for the dormer, which houses the hayloft door. The walls are made of coursed malmstone with brick dressings, including quoins, bands, cambered openings, and a plinth. The windows are casements, and the doors are plain. The upper opening in the north gable has been filled in, and a small wood pigeon-loft has been attached.
