Description

The Stables to the north of Holbrook Hall is a stable block and coach house, now converted into a house. It dates from the early 19th century and was converted around 1980. The building is constructed of coursed squared sandstone, with some areas roughcast and features sandstone dressings. It has a slate roof with overhanging eaves and brick stacks at the gables and ridges. The structure is two storeys high and consists of five bays.

The central entrance has a segmental-headed arch with quoined jambs, a traceried fanlight, and a glazed door, which is flanked by sidelights. On the west side, there are four pointed windows with 20th-century casements. The east side has two similar windows along with two sets of double garage doors located in former quoined openings. Above these, there are five pointed windows with 20th-century casements.
