Description
Binsted Place is an 18th-century house that has undergone restoration in the 20th century. It features brick and rendered walls topped with a tile roof. The front of the house is symmetrical, with two storeys and four windows above two. The roof is hipped, and the red brick walls are laid in Flemish bond, with rubbed flat arches over the first-floor windows and wider Dutch flat arches over the ground-floor windows. A cement plinth supports the structure. The windows are sashes set in exposed frames. The classical doorcase includes a moulded canopy supported by carved brackets, a decorative fanlight, and a half-glazed door, all accessed by a flight of stone steps with wrought-iron side rails. The rear elevation is rendered and features irregular window placement, with four hipped roofs. Each end of the rear has two windows, with the east side made of red brick and the west side rendered, which includes a buttress.
