Description

River Hill Farmhouse is a house dating mainly from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a prominent stone cill detail and a high plinth. The symmetrical east front features three windows over two storeys, plus an attic and a basement. The roof is plain, with two 20th-century flat-roofed dormers. The windows are sash windows set in reveals. A half-glazed front door is located within a simple opening and is accessed via a flight of eight stone steps with wrought iron side rails, leading to a porch with a moulded canopy supported by two square posts.
