Description

The White Hart is an 18th-century house, later used as a public house, with alterations from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of painted brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a thatched roof that is hipped and slopes down at the east side, incorporating eyebrow dormers. The south-facing front is of one storey and attic, with a symmetrical arrangement of two windows. The windows are casements. A half-glazed door is set beneath a 20th-century ogee hood supported on a wrought-iron trellis. The walls have a plinth and cambered openings.
