Description

Church Cottage is a 15th-century cottage with timber framed walls and a tiled roof. The building is positioned at right angles to the roadway and projects forward of Roxfords Cottage, to which it is attached. It has two storeys and features one window with a two-hipped roof. The exposed frame includes a jettied first floor with brick infill, some of which is plastered, all resting on a stone rubble plinth. The cottage has old leaded casements and a boarded door set in a plain frame.
