Description

This milestone, located 1600 metres north-northwest of Morestead Crossroad on the east side of the road, dates from the early 19th century. It is a painted rectangular stone featuring a painted inscribed cast iron plate. The plate is inscribed with the distances: "2 miles from WINTON, 7 from Bps WALTHAM."
