Description

This milestone, located 300 meters southeast of Bottom Pond Cottages, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of painted rectangular stone and features a painted inscribed cast iron plate. The plate indicates that it is 4 miles from Winton and 6 miles from Bishop's Waltham.
